OUTDOORS

In the outdoors she gains grit and perseverance

Girl Scouts thrive in the outdoors. Utilization of our eight camps increased by 16 percent to 55,314 girls and adults. Last year, girls took aim at our new sling shot and tomahawk ranges and perfected their knot tying skills at permanent stations on our eight camp properties.

1,356 members took the challenge on our high adventure ropes courses at Camp Crowell and White Rock, navigating cargo bridges, ropes and zip lines. Summer was camp time for over 7,500 Girl Scouts.
