Congressional Aide Celebrated 45 years
Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors had the opportunity to experience first-hand how government works, attending our unique Congressional Aide program. Fifty-one Girl Scouts were placed in 26 congressional offices where they handled constituent calls, gave tours, attended hearings and did research on legislation. Girls enjoyed using the “staff only” subway to the Senate side and visiting the Democratic cloakroom.
